Caixa Cosmos!

Hola again!

I want to share with you some photos and whatnot from our outing to the splendiferous Barcelona science museum, Caixa Cosmos.

Andrea, mi prima favorita, treated us to it last Saturday since it's one of her favorite places in Barcelona.
And I don't blame her!
It really was the most complete science museum I'd ever been to! There were huge exhibits about physics as demonstrated in nature; a living jungle a la the Amazon; prehistoric nature remains; a meteorological exhibit; and these hourly programs directed at youngsters with interactive displays for learning-playing!

It was so impressive and also affordable! Not only free for Caixa bank account holders, but children 16 and under are free, and then the regular entry fee is only 4 euros! I mean, come oooon it doesn't get much better than that! :D

Anyway, here are some of my favorite photos from the day:

Super groovy light display demonstrating our white light is made up of multiple colors!

Love me some black light action~!

This was from the "Clik!" program.Blowing bubbles~

Clik! again -- sliding down with William

Toca Toca let the kiddos touch animals. Here is a shy hermit crab

Toca Toca Level V! Touching a real snake~

This strange bubble devise that had the kids absolutely mesmerized @_@

Well, that is all for now from our Caixa Cosmos experience :)
If you ever come to Barcelona, I highly recommend it! Great for kids and adults alike, and will not break the bank.

Until next time, take care and Happy Caixa Cosmos!!
